According to WhaleStats, deep-pocketed Ethereum holders have purchased an average of $296,737 worth of stablecoin USD Coin (USDC) to top the list in the past 24 hours. It is followed by Smart Contract platform Ethereum and top stablecoin Tether (USDT) with average purchases of $288,215 and $231,936 respectively. Next is Gala (GALA), the player-controlled blockchain gaming platform with an average purchase price of $47,669, followed by the decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol Yearn.finance (YFI) at $18,765.

Meanwhile, projects with average purchases of less than $7,000 include stablecoin Binance USD (BUSD), popular blockchain-based game Axie Infinity (AXS), decentralized exchange Uniswap (UNI), decentralized oracle network Chainlink (LINK), and meme coin Shiba Inu. (SHIB).

Subtracting the ETH of the total stocks of the leading altcoin Ethereum wallets, one altcoin stands out from the rest of the pack: the dog-themed meme coin Shiba Inu. The data shows that the top 1,000 ETH wallets have a total of over $2.36 billion in SHIB tokens. In second place comes Tether, where ETH's largest whales have over $652 million in assets. In third place is Crypto.com's native token CRO, with over $651 million in assets. The leading altcoin Ethereum was trading at $4.23 at the time of writing, losing 9.36% in the last 7-day time frame, according to CoinMarketCap data. ETH is 12.86% below its all-time high of $4,859, which it hit on November 10 this year.
